Fog light lens removal
After hitting two deer at once, both of my fog lamps have internal damage, no external damage. Can the clear lens be removed from the light body? If so, does it just pry off? Oh, yea, there is a whole lot of other damage, but I have that under control even though the insurance company is writing it off as a total. Doing all the repair work myself with new (used) hood, fender, bumper cover, radiator support & AC condenser. Of course, new headlamp, grilles, and paint. With no external damage to fog lights, want to save/fix them if possible.

Mark,
Yes, the covers appear to be either glued, or 'clamped' on with a rubber gasket between the reflector/lamp holder and the housing. My reason for wanting to get inside is that both lights have the adjustable lens and lamp holder flopping around inside the housing. That because one of the little prongs that holds one side of the reflector pivot points in place has broken off in both lights. Upon further investigation I think I can open up a hole, by careful cutting of the housing and perhaps repari the broken prongs and pivot point to get these back in working order. Will take photos of the process and post if successful when all is said and done.
