Stage 1 Upgrade
I've got 2.0t and Hirsch Stage 1 200hp, 300nm, and it works well with dual pipe by BSR. I think that this exhaust gave some Nm, i feel some difference...
But in Poland we got people who do much better softwares for Saabs, much cheaper than maptun, hirsch, bsr, but without PnP.
Had a Aero '01 with a Viggen package and 270hp, 380nm and it worked better than Stage 3 Maptun.

The "little guys" always seem to figure out the better tunes for the bargain dollar prices. If I wasn't "lazy" I'd be doing the same - it's for the love of the brand and others who want to go a little faster then the herd. Saab should have sold all the 2.0T cars with the "Stage1" tune IMHO - the stock US cars were LAME!

Check a PL tune for 9-3 OG. +300HP +400Nm
It was 9-3 LPT with a stock 150HP.

I really excited to get this done. Can't wait to see what it feels like once the tuning is done. This the first saab I've ever owned and have had it a little over a year. I love the driving experience.

I realize that this thread is a little over a month old, but I figured I would add my 2 cents. I just got a stage 2 Tune from Brew City Boost and I am very happy with the results ('04 9-3 linear). Granted, it has only been a couple of days since I re-installed the ECU, but I think BCB offers a great product at a very good price. I already had a K&N filter in the car, so I didn't have that additional cost, but I have been genuinely surprised at how much more power the stage 2 tune provides (50 ish hp, 50 ft/lbs.) I dealt mostly with Kelly at BCB and he was awesome. I was a bit more nervous than I usually am about dealing with "internet purchases" and sending in my ECU, but Kelly responded to all my annoying emails quickly and professionally. I highly recommend BCB and would suggest taking a look at them or at least emailing them if you have interest in a tune. A few hundred dollars transformed my car.

I'll be going back to MPS in the next month or so (Or Carlisle) and upgrading to a Stage 2 or a 2+ I'll be fitting my NEW GS 3" DP w/cat and custom Cat Back exhaust I'm making. Already fitted a BSR Intake (which is terrible build quality....)

I've tuned my saab myself using T7suite. Now the software my car is running on, I didn't program that myself, a friend of mine did that, but I've written the Biopower software for a friend of mine with an Aero from 2002. That workes like a charm.
Oh by the way, mine is set to 200 hp and 340 Nm, especially written to run with LPG.
I'm currently programming a new software stage for my own car, for I want to mount a td04 turbo when my garrett gets worn out (it currently done 247.000 km (154.375 miles), which is pretty impressive I think), and get bigger LPG injectors that can cope with more horse power than 200.
I'm just saying, it's an extra option for people that want to tune their car.
