2005 9-5 Navigation System
The touch screen for my nav on 2005 9-5 Arc has quit functioning. The FM still works and I am able to use the CD and CD changer. Any suggestions on repair for the touch screen function or replacement under $500-600.
Thanks
Jerry

Used units can occasionally be found on eBay. Right now, there are these from the 2006 model year which have a different front cover. Not sure if the front plate can be easily exchanged with the older model year units but it seems everything else should be the same fit. Saab 9 5 Navigation Unit 12758441 A | eBay
When you replace with an OEM unit, it would have to be married to your car with Tech2.
Installing an aftermarket head unit with 2014 technology may be a better option. It's not that difficult to do when you are comfortable with wires, soldering and sourcing the parts. http://saabworld.net/f29/aftermarket...saab-9-5-a-84/
