Saab 900SE convertable 2.5 v6 cooling system diagram
The hoses going to and from the heat exchange or heater core must be as shown in my diagram or your engine will overheat. I spent a week looking for a cooling system diagram and found nothing for my car and engine. When I purchased my Saab, it was completely disassembled so I had no reference, couldn't find a repair manual, and ended up hooking the heater hoses to the wrong necks. Needless to say, water did not flow to and from the heater properly, my engine overheated and I had to rebuild the engine AGAIN. This time, I have verified flow in both directions and the engine is much happier.
