Tire chains - which to use?

This extreme snow we are having has me thinking of keeping a set of tire chains with me in the winter. What experience does anyone have with various types of chains, and how do you use, and how do you like them. Note, I have used various tire chains on other vehicles with great success, but never on the Saab. Previous use was on an '57 Ford way back in the '60s, and on a Volvo 240 wagon back in the '70s. Both worked fantastically, but those were rear wheel drive without ASC or traction control.

i recently used some made by trak also called quick trak you can see them on you tube. zero clearance and very easy to install. I was also very impressed with the traction i got with them, a bit pricey but worth it!
