saab 900s convertible rear seats
can anybody tell me how to get the rear seats to fold forward I have tried pulling & pushing the lugs on top either side but to no availe

On the convertible, there is a lock cylinder on the top of the left end of the seat. Use the ignition key on it to unlock the seat before trying to move it. I imagine this is so one can park the car with the top lowered and still have secure storage in the trunk.

Yikes,
I found the keyhole, it turns. It seems like the drivers or keyhole side will move forward, but no action on the passenger side.
I don't want to force it, but it is stopping me from repairing the top hydraulics.
Help!!

If it's like my 97 vert, the procedure is this:
Insert key in slot
Turn about 1/4 to right. That releases the left side.
While turning a bit more to the right, PUSH the right side of the seat BACK to release the tension on the latch. Don't PULL the seat until it releases.
It's takes a bit of finagling, just DON'T force it. You'll feel good when it opens...
