I rarely look at Facebook anymore. Maybe once a month or less. Twitter and Instagram are better. For companies, Twitter is probably better.
Happy Birthday to Saabworld. Nordwulf has done something good for the Saab world! I came here around August so it's not yet 8 years for me.

Willing to wish an Happy Birthday to Saabworld, never have been disappointed by members i've only found nice and courteous peoples there, shared their knowledge with extreme patience ...and probably the most accessible and clear datas for Saabs over the whole net. Thanks to Frank for huge work he accomplished.
Greetings from Switzerland

I just visited SC after a long time and the new site design is interesting.. Looks a bit dumbed down and just feels a bit empty.
I have been tempted to upgrade the software for SaabWorld but not sure if that would be a good thing. SaabCentral was using vBulletin 3 which was really old. I don't exactly know what it is about vBulletin 4 we use on SaabWorld but it just feels right for a technical car forum.

There's one forum that is closed to the public but open only to members of a certain profession. They changed to a fancy setup but all of the users are unhappy. Some complain that the forum list doesn't show one thread per line but expands it, making it necessary to click to page 2 and 3 and other pages to see posts. Others complain that messages are now limited to 280 characters.
The short of the story is users are unhappy and some are saying they are leaving.
In short, testing is needed before a switchover.
If there's a change, I would suggest trying to get new pictures to rotate at the top. The current pictures are good but there aren't many different ones.

heading for 12 years! The Facebook c900 group is still going strong (It will be 16 in October) Though due to the chaotic nature of the platform, I've spent that whole time seeing the same stuff, different people come and go. Only difference is that prices on everything are skyrocketing. : P
Frank, I was wondering if there's a way to edit old posts? I had some misinformation in a thread about Clarion radios/equalizers that I'd like to straighten up. (Google leads to that thread pretty easily, so might be worthwhile)
