900S Convertible...Top will not retract.

Good Morning! Brand new to the forum. Looking for some help.

My wife and I have purchased 2 SAAB's in the past two months. The 900S is giving me a bit of a fit with the top...

Our understanding is that there was a replacement of a bracket (motor bracket) and a new SID unit in the dash and now the top needs to be "reprogrammed."

The top will begin the process of retracting. The rear section of the top with the window (5th bow) will lift, but that is all it will do. The SID unit says "Check Soft Top."


While investigating, I noticed that the tonneau cover was latched on the passenger side, but not the driver side. When attempting to raise the power top, the passenger side does not unlatch, and I do not know how to relatch the driver side catch.


Any help out there?
