I was a member of the SCCA for a while (Detroit region) and did a few of those Solo events. I had a Nissan 240SX at the time and was a lot of fun. I also volunteered for a few of the Pro/Club races and it was great to be part of the action, even though there was no driving involved. I wish there was a local chapter of the SCCA where I live now.
