    code p1251

Having ignition switch (cylinder) problem (will need to be replaced) and now have code p1251 as well.
When car is started the idle runs up quite high and then settles down as it warms up. I saw one post indicating the p1251 is due to a "Throttle Motor" problem. [ http://saabworld.net/f144/p1251-throttle-motor-25086/ ]

I can clean the throttle body this weekend, but wondering : Are these related ?

They are not related. The code suggests throttle body spring and the cure does seem to be a TB cleaning.
