2006-2009 Aux In Cable
My new-to-me 08 9-5 has the Aux-In on the bottom right front of the radio. I just tried to use a new 3.5mm cable (with two rings), and it won't transmit audio. I then tried a 1-ring aux-in cord and it didn't work either. Do I need a 4pole (with the 3 rings) 3.5mm cable? Thanks!

You'll need a standard 3.5mm audio cable, I think that's what you mean with two rings.

I believe you need to add wiring to the harness. Just plugging it in is not going to get you there.
