Saab wont idle...what hoses go here?

I have a recently acquired 2000 linear 9-5 with a supposedly replaced engine. I am getting the misfire on cylinder 3 code and the dtc code (I don't remember the specific code number) The car runs/drives great at highway speeds, however when slowing at a light, stop sign etc...the motor seems to idle too low, sputters and wants to die it seems at times. Long story short, my son was driving it tonight, the same thing happened but it wont idle at all. My wife went to where the car broke down (Im at work), and said if she revs it, it runs ok but won't idle at all, not sure if I could left foot brake and feather the gas to get it into gear or not. Any ideas? Im posting a picture showing where it looks like some vacuum hoses should go. If the guy I bought it from replaced the engine, its possible he could have missed something. This picture is on the driver side firewall.Name: saab.jpg
