Upgrade from 150W audio system to 300W audio system manually
Hello everyone!
First, I'm noob on this forum and I would like to thank creators/developers of this website idea!
I own a 9-3 Valkommen edition MY10. It has the OEM 150W audio system with OEM head unit (6 CDs changer version).
I'm rather happy of this audio system version but I would like to upgrade my OEM install to the 300W prestige audio system. But not the Bose version (seems to be too difficult to install manually), I talk about the version which was installed on 9-3 convertible body version (from 2007 to 2012) with 2 dash speakers and 1 subwoofer (10 speakers in total).
first question: is it possible to do this on a 9-3 Sedan MY10? (installing sub in trunk for example)
second question: if yes, where can I buy the second amp and wires (optical and normal wires)? (don't panic with OEM speakers, I prefer buy aftermarket speakers)
finally, third question: if somebody has already done this type of operation? (if it's the case please supply me the post link in order to avoid repetition)
Thank you for your help Saab owners!
