Clarification to be provided, please: Is the request for fault code P4020, or P0420 as in the title? Given the latter is in question, is the the description "Three Way Catalytic Converter. Malfunction.".

The WIS part covering the P0420 (T8 ECU) / Three Way Catalytic Converter thrown code, clearly states that it is faulty - on one condition: a leak in the exhaust system can as well generate this code.

Is it the cat the turbo is on or a different one? The one the turbo is on has the oxygen sencers so I need a cat? My exhaust don't have any leaks. I appreciate all the help!!!!!

It is the one to which the inlet pipe is conncted to the turbo:
Note: The Tech 2 procedure regarding thrown P0420 code, set forth a number of "enable criteria", i.e. no thrown DTCs for oxygen sensors, mass air flow sensor, exhaust temperature sensor and other conditions, are met.
And: The reply is without I see where you are living (different countries = different setups), and the engine in question the 2.0T.

The code says the same as what you stated. Onn your diagram is the cat on the top were the oxegen sencers are or at rhe end were the exhaust hangers are at the end of the pipe were it straightens out? Is there two converters? If so wicj cat is the code for?

I just read the top of your post. So it is the one were the sencers screw in and is between the firewall and engine bolted by turbo at the top of the diagram that big section of pipe that goes down to a bend and on back.
