Replaced the fuel pump twice
Hello there,
I have replaced the fuel pump twice and my mechanic says i will have to replace another one any advice on what it could be any thought appreciated

Suggest you try another mechanic. You dont give us much information but I doubt 3 fuel pumps are what is wrong.

I knew I'd read it somewhere....
A very common reason for multiple fuel pump failure is too high of a voltage drop in the line supplying power to the pump. Have your mechanic check for a voltage drop to the pump. The issue is because it is not getting the voltage required it continues to draw high amps and burns out the pumps.I hope this helps.

A defective relay can cause a fuel pump to short out. It is located in the under dash driver’s side fuse box. Have it checked and if there is the slightest doubt have it replaced.
