Has anyone else suffered a recurring marker light failure? I've had the car since April and this us the 3rd time I've had to change them.
Whilst on the subject of lights, is the light bar on the boot lid of the Vector supposed to come on at night? If not, can I make it happen some how?

No problems with any lights other than the "brow" light over the boot which had to be replaced (condensation and failing leds)
As for the Vector light - I don't know as I have the Aero and not seen enough around on the road.

Make it happen - try your local SAAB specialist - listed through SAABParts uk.
Sorry to have missed the second part of your question.

I am having this marker failure now. The bulb is intact but for whatever reason it stops working after a while. When I take the unit out, dismount and mount the bulb again it works again for a few days. There doesn't seem to be any corrosion, so mystery why this is happening.
More people with this issue? Found a solution?

hi, I guess you are referring to the h6w bulbs in the front headlamps. these bulbs have always been prone to blowing, mine were only lasting about 3 months, so I bought some osram ultra life h6w which seem to be lasting well up to now, the cheap ones are a waste of time.

Not had this problem but have you tried LEDs?

Ah - sorry. Did not think you were referring to the strip of lights within the headlight unit.
Yes I have them on my car - but have not had any problems.

Thanks DRF. I've ordered some from Amazon and will fit them as needed. And Gepe, I've been in touch with SAAB about the boot light. Thank you.
