Article: Photos of recent SAAB meet Hyvinkää, Finland

Just thought i would share some photos of the recent SAAB meeting in Hyvinkää. some really beautiful cars there and most are driven daily
it is impossible to go more than an hour in Finland without seeing a handful of SAABs and you see maybe 3-4 older (95, 96) models a week, especially outside of the cities.
Simo Lampinen attends this show every year, but this year he didn't have his 96

I am lucky when I see any Saab once a week where I live, must be nice to see so many on the road and especially the older ones.

Yes, I was there June - August. My fiancee is from there so I am lucky enough to be able to travel there quite a bit with free lodging at her families place
the opal green 96 is hers, last summer we went, stripped it down and painted it.

Yeah coming back to the states and seeing so few is really a downer. it really is weird how classic cars here are so rarely driven.

Very nice pictures, do you have a picture on the orange Saab 96 with lowered roof, that i can see in some of your pics? That one looks interesting
