Your username, what does it mean?
Always interesting to know why site members choose their username. Sometimes easy to figure out but often a choice shrouded in mystery for outsiders.
Mine is the first part of my last name. I wasn't very creative when I joined my first Saab forum many years ago. But is was short and easy so I stuck with it for all those years. I still can't think of a better name..
Perhaps members should give other members their name like Maverick, Goose or Iceman..

I strive for greatness but the most I can ever achieve is mediocrity, which I suppose is better than straight up failure.

Burnsside - comes from General Ambrose Burnside - I have had sideburns since I was in 6th Grade. 42 - the answer to the ultimate questions assumed as the meaning of life from the Douglas Adams book Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. The reason I have 2 "s" in the burnsside is because back when I had AOL Messenger someone took the proper spelling. It just stuck and I've been using this screen name for everything since the early 2000's (when I got my first computer).

My nic is translated as "lump with sauce", this is a typical short meal in Franconia. Im my language/idiom is it a saying for minimum as needed. Completely set is "Kloss mit Soss, sonst nix" > "Lump with sauce, nothing else (needed)". I hope this was a good explanation.
