Newbie from Shropshire UK....
Hi My name is Scott and Im from Shropshire in th UK.
I have just Purchased My First Saab 4 weeks ago after owning vauxhalls for the past 5 years (also GM Motor).
Its a 2006 Saab 9-3 Aero 2.8T V6 auto in Fusion Blue Metallic.
Got a fantastic deal with low mileage (60k) ful service history, had the insignia turbo installed 18k ago and Timing chains changed 3 months ago with a major service.
So far Im loving it......
So far Ive added a few little changes and also last Saturday it had a fully custom Road map (tuning) with fantastic results.
Ive added:
Pipercross performance panel filter with airbox mod
Heko wind deflectors
Flyeye tinted headlights and rear lights
Fitted rear parking sensors
Custom map (319.9bhp 512nm torque)
Looking into exhaust and upgraded front mount intercooler after ive had the front bumper repaired, as last owner hit a curb and cracked the splitter in 2 places....woopsy lol.
Anyway heres a few pics:
Also Any advice on adding some 6x9 speakers in the rear? got the space for them but no speakers....Can I install a set from my local audio shop or do they need to be special ones due to the optic fibre?

Hello and welcome. Fusion Blue is still my favorite Saab color, looks great on a 2006 9-3 Aero.
For help with speakers, it's best to open a new topic in the 9-3 Workshop forum.

Nice one - no wonder you are heading off to the Horseshoe Pass -- but in an automatic?
Almost as nice as Fjord Blue (but that's for a 9-5)

I love the colour, gave it a machine polish, seal and wax Saturday. Will upload some pics when I get on the laptop... Come up really well.
I had an auto (vec c) 2 years ago and tbh I loved it. With the triptronic get best of both worlds. Auto for lazy days and triptronic for some spirited driving. But saying that the autobox on this is great as in kickdown it will change gear at 6200-6500rpm. I looked out for the auto over the manual.
Got a few Vextra Vxr's and an insignia vxr coming along so be good to see the performance difference between the 3 cars as they have the same engine.Yes thats the rear lights of a Saab you see.......

First: I would fix the steering wheel, it seems to be out of place.
second: Where can I order tinted headlights and such things from, I have been unable to find a website.
Love the car, it's beautiful.

How did you install the rear bumper parking sensors?
