    97 900 SE Turbo convertible

    SE 900 Turbo rough idle and fouled new plugs

    I recently purchased a 900 convertible and it recently started running rough.I put four new NGK spark plugs in it and it fouled the third cylinder immediately.Thoughts on DI, rings or iridium plugs. Shawn

    In lack of precise information with regard to correct type spark plugs for the engine in question, do I believe I should not reply. There is a number of different plugs, with specifications pertaining to the different versions of the engine. However, if you are confident that correct type is installed, my first thought is the DI, based on the symptom "started running rough" and now a failing cylinder #3.

    Readout of fault codes, if any, would maybe point you towards the culprit.
