Saab Radio - Everything but Tuner Works
Everything else works: CD, cassette, antenna - but no tuner (AM, FM, WB) functionality, I've tested and repaired the antenna cable, antenna is good, but tuner seek does not seek.
I opened up the radio case, looking for anything fried or broken - all looks good.
Where is there a schematic and/or description of the internals of the radio?
I suspect a signal outage going to the tuner, but I get no white noise (static, etc) either. I noticed a small white relay adjacent to the tuner section/antenna jack - can someone ID this relay?

Seek does not seek sounds like a bad contact under the seek buttons.

No - it appears to have no radio signal going in (there's nothing to seek).

Hmm... It seems unlikely that the antenna is the problem; you'd likely get something even with no antenna. Personally, I'd get a replacement from a salvage yard (or something aftermarket) before I'd try repairing the tuner.

Yeah, that's my reckoning - since no one around here has another OE HU, I'm considering getting an aftermarket stereo. At least, it'll have all the modern bells and whistles.

Yeah. I'm tempted to upgrade the radio in my 9-5, but I'm not sure how it ties into the SID and I'd have to give up the steering wheel controls (which I almost never use...). I had a Dual brand radio in my previous car that I got from Crutchfield for $30 (I think it was refurbished). It had bluetooth and worked fine. I really miss the bluetooth.
