interior lights

I am new to the site and don't really know my way of going about asking a question, but my problem is, I have a 900 SE auto convertible 1996, and the interior is on when I drive away , and does not go out,the doors are closed. When I park up, and switch off they do go out after a few minutes.??

The first and easiest thing you can do is make sure the switches for the interior lights are all switched to the "door" position. I have a 9-5, not a 900, so I don't know where they will be on your car, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are two switches, one near the center of the roof and another at the front, by the windscreen.
