Tuning Session - MikeD - January 9/10/11 - Palmyra, PA
We are putting together a weekend tuning session. MikeD will be handling the tunes for everyone pre-scheduled. If you are interested in attending, let us know so we can get you on his schedule. JWebb has arranged for the use of a garage and tools. Staged/custom T5/T7 tuning, T5 conversions and road tuning will all be available.
Also, if you get pre-scheduled with MikeD and are in need of any hard to find interior or exterior c900 parts(louvers, super aeros rims, recaro aero seats, whale tails, carlsson kits...) let me know and I'll have it there for pickup.

What cars is he currently doing in terms of ECU, simple mods? Did he ever start doing 2003 and later?

MikeD is doing T5, T7 and T8 tunes. He has been fielding a bunch of questions for us around next weekend sessions. Feel free to go to his website at Mike D Tuning | Saab Trionic Tuning and simply contact him. He would be more than happy to talk to you about his tunes.
Thanks.

My point exactly, what years does he do when these engines were offered? I know he does the ng900 and early 9-3 but did he ever pick up on the 2003 and onward t or T? I did speak with him at one point and he was not doing our current 2.0T and was hoping to get clear on what years he stopped at?

Tunnanxwd:
Feel free to call(978-877-9862) MikeD about your needs/project. I just spoke with him in reference to your questions and he is indeed doing the newer 2003+ ECU tunes.
Mike is a great guy, very knowledgeable and capable. He is available, ready and willing to talk to you. Give him a call and plan on coming out to the tuning session this weekend --- there will be some very interesting cars there!

Thanks for the pictures, they definitely helped. The 9000 hardware setup is different than the c900. We have a decent stock of c900 parts and accessories, but little to none accessories for the 9000 - mostly just body parts. I will check around with some of my SAAB 9k buddies to see if any of them have a set for you. If I can get my hands on a pair, I'll bring them up for you.
BTW, those were some great shots!

We had an absolutely awesome weekend tuning session. We knew it was going to be great when we got about 1.5 miles from the house. A cheyenne red Talladega came from out of nowhere, "screamed" past our 2 car convoy on a little rural road and disappeared from view in less than 4 seconds!!!
When we finally got over to the host house, MikeD and Ehern were cracking up!!
MikeD did my T5 conversion last summer and I was thoroughly pleased with the results. At this tuning session, he did a road tune for me which involved some mind altering tweaks. This car was my first exposure to major performance mods and I must say --- I'm totally hooked. MikeD walked me through the whole process, explained everything in a language that I could understand and took the time to tweak my car exactly where I wanted it to be.
He allowed me to DRIVE his beasty T5 machine to get a good feel for what to expect. He was able to safely dial up the power on my MCY SPG to the point where I couldn't stop smiling. I drove the car more over the next two days than I have over the last two years!!!! MikeD said I still have room to safely dial up more ponies, so I plan to hit a few road tracks and get a handle on this new found power and then come back for more.
The tuning session was such a hit and it grabbed the attention of a few that just came to see what the T5, road tuning and MikeD was all about -- that we are already working on putting together our next tuning session in March, which will be in Maryland -- up next for me, I will T5 my Black SPG. "Stay Tuned".
MikeD is very knowledgeable about the T5 conversion. If you are thinking about doing one, I would strongly recommend that you talk to him. The best part is, he is constantly perfecting the process, that shows commitment. He told us about some new tweaks that will make the whole process not only easier but also better.
Big thanks to J Webb and his family for allowing us to use his house, garage and tools and thanks to MikeD for making everyone more than happy with the results!!
