Saying goodbye to #16 - and how do I say hello #17...
All I have to say is as long as the deal goes through - Saab #16 will be passing through my care onto another and I'll be taking in one of these in exchange....

That didn't take very long for #16. Not Saabish enough or just not the type of vehicle for you?
I still remember driving the then new Turbo X on the track. Fun!

It's the "extra" vehicle in the fleet which we don't need - and I'm in the market for a Manual Aero 9-5 Wagon - this just became a deal I couldn't resist. We are trading cars. He is taking my 9-7 - I am getting his TurboX. If I really have fun and enjoy it it'll stick around - if not, I'll have my fun, make my upgrades and move it along.
Making a trade - it's missing the TurboX wheels - but I have a source for a nice set. Those will be the summer wheels and what you see here with the snows will be the winters.
He is getting my 9-7 and I am getting the TurboX. I'll likely tint it to 30% as it needs it lol Maybe play with the exhaust a bit - mostly just enjoy having a manual Saab with power again.European Motor Services, LLC - Point Pleasant, PA 18950 - www.europeanmotorsvc.com

#17 could soon be uncommon enough to make someone's day when they see it. Anyone interested in keeping an unofficial Saabworld Museum? The details could be worked out but one idea is to have a collection of Saabs where other members can occasionally book appointments to see it (or have the car included in the online museum gallery). Another possibility is that museum cars are occasionally shown, say once every few years somewhere. Of course, the owner can decide on when and where.

I'll happily accept donations to go into the upkeep on my personal collection ;-)

Burnside. How did you like the 9-7? I'm going to sell my Arc and start using my F150 SCrew as a tow vehicle. How would the 9-7 be for towing? Is it a pig on fuel with normal use? City=? Highway=?
I see them come up on Kijiji occasionally. (Some (about 1/3) of the adds say it needs motor work...?) Is this common?
