New rubber seals. I got these from SAABsite.

I found this little plastic sleeve when I removed the seal. I put it back in so the reservoir's tube would fit through.

I cleaned area around seal locations, inserted seals, cleaned reservoir nipples (after this picture was taken) and found that I needed to lubricate seals with brake fluid that was kind enough to appear on demand at the rear-most hole. Once that was done, the reservoir popped back in by pressing down.

I had some old blue Loctite that seemed to still be good. I wonder how long Loctite lasts?

I took the opportunity to replace the coolant tank as it was leaking in at least three places. It looked so terrible I assumed it must be original, but I found a Scan Tech label underneath.

More to do, but at least the car is drivable now.

I believe General Motors owned SAAB at the time this car was made, so it was funny to find the connector to the reservoir had the "Ford" logo.

I do really need to find a method to clean the wiring, any suggestions?

Glad to hear you have the SPG back on the road. The pictures and the write up are great and should prove helpful.

Thanks, SPG9. It was great to drive it again.

Anyone have a good method of cleaning the grime without damaging any of the wiring?
I'm not exactly certain which wires you want to clean (all?), but waterless handcleaner and a cotton rag works well if you can get to them. Vern
