AC code 13 with hot rear vents.

I've done a bit of a search but had no luck with this.

Diagnostic shows two errors, both 13. The only issue im noticing is that the rear two vents are always hot no matter what is set up front.

Im quite happy to service the motors myself but with so many in there, I dont even know where to start looking or what panels to remove to get in there.

Anyone care to steer me in the right direction please?

    Thanks
    Kym.

Your right side blend door stop arm is broken and maybe the motor shaft as well. Usually just the stop arm and on the right side. The following link is how to get to it. Never mind the rest of the stuff if it only the arm. See stickies on 08 repair for how to do a blend arm.

These are the parts you might need. Likely only the flap itself which is the arm. You can past the part number and search anywhere for it. Most use the aluminum unit arm but the new plastic ones are ok too. Before installing the new arm calibrater the unit first to cycle it into the correct position.

Thanks for that. From the reserch ive done the front driver and passenger blend doors always seem to be error codes 8 and 11. And both sides on the front are working perfectly.
Could that leave error 13 to be the control for the rear. As this constantly gets stuck in full hot position.

If not the diagnostics doesn't seem to be sensing that there were a serious issue with the rear blend door.
