no central locking and front electric windows
Hi,new member here ,
Bought a 06 93 convertible a month ago,on collection the central locking in the passenger door wasn't working, both front windows don't work and passenger mirror, the dealer said that a relay had gone,he said it is on order, now a month on it still hasn't arrived, he tells me it has to come from Sweden, find it strange with the car being a GM car that another relay willnot fit.Another thing that he said is linked to the relay is that the battery goes flat if I don't use the car daily, had the RAC out and he said there is a drain on the battery.Despite all this I really like the car,it is my second 93 and don't want to give up on it,any tips would be appreciated.

Welcome to the SaabWorld
I assume there is more than one cause for the problems, however could the first step be verification of the battery status. It may not be known as the car is newly bought and the 9-3's electronics is sensitive to the battery voltage / capacity.
The next step could be a quick look for the paracitic drain (if not caused by an old battery). Take a look at post #2 in the thread "2006 93 Aero: replaced alternator, and battery, still won't start".
Then we could proceed with the problems being reported.

Thanks for the info, the battery is a new one fitted by dealer, who thought the battery going flat was a battery issue,i have found a local Saab specialist locally and I am going to get them to check it out.
