Headlight differences between 2001 and above
Hello everyone, Its been a while since I've posted anything.
I am trying to do a headlight swap on my 2001 wagon, with the goal being installing projector headlights. Can I simply swap a 2001 and 2002 headlights? If not what modifications should be made?
My headlights and side lights are on their way out, the plastic braces that keep them connected to the body have broken, clear tape is taking their place for the time being. Any help would be appreciated. If its broken, I can fix it. If it already works, I can break it.

You should try and replace your 01's with 98-01 which were glass. 02-05 were plastic and get clouded.

Remember the goal is to attain the projector style headlight, beyond that is the glass and plastic interchangeable on those years?
If its broken, I can fix it. If it already works, I can break it.

The projector-style headlights are Xenon lights and you will need additional equipment like level sensors and probably different connectors/wiring to make them work properly even if they physically fit.
