"beep beep"
when i close the drivers door,with the key in my hand, the horn sounds "beep beep", it dosn't do it everytime and i can't find in the handbook download the reason for it doing it. can anyone put me straight.

Hi, it sounds like it thinks the remote is still in the car, that's why it beeps the horn to warn you! I suggest you put it in your pocket, or you can disable the warning through the config menu on the nav system (if you have nav) which is what I did, don't know how to do it on a non nav car.

i'll try try your suggestion and let you know how i get on. i don't have sat nav but will see if i can disarm it somehow.

a dealer has told me the key signal is too strong and needs reprogramming
