Recently replaced the alternator but lopped off the silly nozzle on the plastic brake fluid reservoir in the process, did a temp stick-back-on-job with superglue which seemed fine until yesterday the brake warning light came on with the singing ding doing audible note! Noted the brake fluid was low and leaking from the nozzle repaired joint, managed to get a second hand master cylinder with the bottle yesterday so am going to replace the reservoir today, so questions are:
How do I remove the plastic reservoir from the master cylinder, gently rock sideways and nudge it off or is there a concealed clip somewhere?
would I need to bleed the system, if so, what is correct order?
can I keep this original reservoir on but just repair the nozzle joint with some more epoxy type glue?
It is the 9-5 Aero auto......so far the most unreliable of my SAABS!
