SaabWorld was started when Saab AB was still making cars in Trollhattan. And the future with Spyker looked good. A lot has changed in the last 5 years but it's good to see SaabWorld is still going. Even though it is not the biggest Saab forum, there is a good group of long time members and SaabWorld has become a good source of information for many Saab enthusiasts.

Thanks to all the members and moderators who offered their time building this not-for-profit Saab community and helping others with their time and knowledge. While Saab AB may be gone and the future of the Saab brand is uncertain, the Saab community and cars are still going strong. I am sure the next 5 years and beyond look good for SaabWorld.

And thank you Dave for all the in-depth articles you have written for the SaabWorld blog through the years. Without any new Saab car and business development going on, I find it difficult to get motivated and write new stuff but maybe that will change.

Our Facebook page has 3,360 Likes which still amazes me. Traffic for all forums seems to be declining with the rise of social media but there will always be a place for these dedicated communities. Last 5 years: Threads 7,350 - Posts 40,520

Why someone likes Saab is a little different for everyone. I like Saab because it did a lot of things well. I was somewhat of a performance car. It can handle a fast curve well. It's also a practical car that you can use everyday. The hatchback was an innovative design found only in a few cars when the Saab 99 came out. The car was a safe car, as demonstrated in crash tests. It was also a good performing car in snow.

Why someone likes Saabworld is probably a little different for everyone. I like the nice people, informative website, and some nice features. The garage and articles are only some of the nice features. The articles have slowed to a near standstill because Saab is not selling cars at the present time and may or may not again. (Even if it does, I don't see it coming back to the U.S. or Canada).

Thanks to the founder, Wulf, and everyone who posts something about Saab. Happy 5th! Just 4 years to the 9th anniversary, nine being a special number for Saabs.
