Service ESP fault

Had the above fault occur on my 2010 9-5 with the abs and traction control lights on, on the dash. Diagnostic check points to nsf abs sensor. Saab UK maintain that the whole hub Assy requires replacing at a cost of £200 inc vat. On the Vauxhall insignia you can replace just the sensor at a cost of approx £30. Are Saab correct or just trying to rip me off. Thanks in advance.

Hi, have just been speaking to Perth SAAB, 01738 639776.
Price appears to be way off the mark. If you contact then with your VIN and strut type (if known) they would be willing to provide a better price! and arrange UK delivery. S
ome options are on back order but this is fairly common. Ball-park cost £40 - £60 plus vat and forward delivery cost. (cheapest option is not much more than you have been quoted but on back order)

Thanks for the info. I've spoken to Perth Saab and the item is on back order at the minute. I'm going to look at my Dads insignia to see if it's the same part and go from there. Cheers.

hi greg, I just looked up a nsf sensor on epc for my 2.0 tid, and googled the number and it came up as a Vauxhall part @ £35, from various suppliers

Thanks for the reply. I've ordered the Saab part from Perth Saab now. I expected it to be the same as the Insignia parts. What is epc for future reference. Thanks.
