Sorry for the late reply Polestar - I was away for a couple of days. I know that the 1998 modules do come with the screws, so I assume yours would be the same with only being a year model later. It is a shame that you cannot locate the repair kit as it does make it easier if you need to replace the capacitors. The battery replacement is quite easy to do, but disconnecting it is obviously quicker! There is a link to the battery replacement available somewhere out there. If you do change your mind and want to tackle the replacement of the battery then let me know if you cannot locate the link to the guide - that is if you need it of course - and I can help with that.

Hello Biggsjam21. It shouldn't be a problem as I have changed over units from different year models, mainly with only one years difference between the 9-5's. It won't hurt to try it. Changes to the 9-5's began with the inception of the 2002 models and stayed more-or-less static until 2005/6 I think.
