Hi I am a new member and attempting my first
I have a 2005,2.3 l turbo. I am loosing a small quantity of coolant and the engine has a miss. I suspect an internal leak, maybe the head gasket. I don't see any white smoke from exhaust or oil discoloration.
I have read where re-torking the head bolt may be where to start. Can anyone help me?

Welcome! Retorxing the bolts might be a cheap step to do first but it's still a lot of work and might not work. However, I only drove 900's and 9-3's, so I don't have first hand experience.

Hello new member. I think this is the information you're looking for:

I don't think it is common issue on the later model years. A common cause for loss of coolant is the heater bypass valve.

I had the same coolant leak, replaced the heater bypass valve. took me about 2 hrs $30 part and had to buy a special remote clamp squeezing tool for $20.
