- saab 9-5 two litre turbo
power steering fluid leak
had to top up the power steering fluid resevoir in my 2001 saab 9-5,what i thought might be a small oil leak now appears to be a steering fluid leak any suggestions as to where to start looking will be gratefully received

Very likely a compression fitting at the end of one of the hoses has failed. Remove the plastic under the motor and look for the wet area. It is a very difficult hose to replace and hose itself is over 100.00

I had a 1990 900 with a power steering fluid leak that was fixed by tightening the connection of the hose at the bottom (not at the top where the reservoir is). I know it was a different year and model as yours. That fix lasted beyond the 7 years that I had the car after the repair.
