Visit to the Saab Museum in Trollhattan
I was on vacation in Sweden a few weeks ago and spent a couple of nights in Trollhattan. I was there about 9 years ago when I picked up my 2006 Saab 9-3 through the European Delivery Program. It's always nice to spend a few hours at the museum, look at all the Saabs and take many pictures.
I was greeted by museum curator Peter Bäckström when I walked through the door. Many pictures have been taken at the museum but I hardly took any 9 years ago. So this was my chance to spend most of the afternoon taking pictures of most of the cars.
I haven't uploaded all the pictures yet as takes time to sort and adjust when needed. the album on Flickr can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/frankw...57658846445180

Also trying out a few creative versions of some of the pictures.

Really nice photos Wulf, if you have more photos, please post them. There must be frustration in Trollhattan from those who lost their jobs after doing such a great job building fine products...
Was that concept car fully functional or just a model? Were the people in that region generally friendly to you?2003 Saab 9-5 Aero B235R

This Aero X at the museum is functional. There is another one somewhere in the US and that one is not.
The Swedes are very friendly in general and most speak very good English as well. Which is a good thing because my knowledge of Swedish is limited to a few words.

It was a Wednesday afternoon in September and very quiet. Perfect for enjoying the place, the Saabs and taking pictures.
