2007 9-5 Aero
My current driver. I purchased as a lease return in 2010 with 19k miles. Today it's just under 60k. This is my 3rd Saab, continually driving the brand for 14 years. 2001 9-3 SE, 2002 9-5 Aero, 2007 9-5 Aero

Nice 9-5. Just curious, how do your 9-5s compare with the 9-3 in driving experience, quality, etc.

Southsaab: Less of a sports car feel for the 9-5, but more comfortable - particularly the bucket seats. The higher HP engine gives the same or better acceleration. I have enjoyed the 9-5's, but occasionally yearn to drive the 9-3 again. I like the 2007 9-5 over the 2002. Less quality on the interior materials, but the 2007 drives better. Probably will be leaving the brand within the next year. I'm really yearning to have all the fancy electronic stuff on newer cars. Problem is, ever time I drive something, I always prefer the 9-5. That's the problem with Saabs - they really spoil you.

Never had a 9-3, but would like to try one one day. Would have bought one instead of my 9-5, but the ones I looked at were trashed. I have heard that pre-2006 9-5s had better quality trim; interesting that you rate the 2007 as a better driver.
I understand your interest in other makes. I take a break from Saabs from time to time. I always seem to come back. I'm a driveway mechanic, I love to tinker and do as much work on my cars as possible, and my 9-5 is fairly easy to DIY once I understood it.
Your saab seems pretty sweet. It may be tough to let it go.
