    Left low beam intermittently fails

    Hi everyone.

2005 Saab 9-3 Aero Factory Xenon lightning system.

Tech 2 DTC Information : UEC B2575 04 Low Beam Left Circuit, Open.

I got a problem with my Left low beam. It lights intermittently. I thought it was my ballast because it happened in the past. So, I bought one used for a good price and I installed it. It worked but after a while, I had the problem again. I removed and took at look at it. Bulb ok, igniter ok, wiring seems to be ok (no green or moisture) and of course, the ballast is working.

Now, I don't know what I could try... Any suggests?

    Sorry for the double post.

Ok I inspected the lightning system a second time. My bulb isn't burn and it lights good. But there is a small crack on the ceramic insulator (D2S bulb). Do you think it can causes the lightning system to be intermittent?

How old are the bulbs? When they started to fail in my 9-5, they first flickr and then off and on again occasionally.

They are not old. I would say they have only 1 year.

Problem solved. The bulb started to fail. Even if it wasnt physically burned, the bulb had a small crack on the ceramic insulator which reduced his life. I hope it will help someone!
