Rolling Starts?
Hopefully this is the right forum. I have a 2005 95 Estate with manual transmission.
Any caveats or tips on a rolling start? Just in case. Haven't done one since I was a kid with my dad.
My SO said his old Saturn was recommended not to do a rolling start. Curious if there's reasons not to in a Saab.

The theory behind a rolling start is that there is still a little bit of electrical energy in the alternator which can be harnessed by pushing the car. At least that is what I was taught in shop class. I would probably try it in a Saab but would immediately buy a battery if the car started. If the battery is completely dead, the car could stall at a stoplight once it was running.
