Putting the top down
Hi,
I recently acquired a (-3 convertible, it only has one little glitch, when putting the top down it will stop half way, I then have to lift the flap on the back and manually push, but when putting the top back up, there is no problem, can anyone tell me how to fix this. Thank you in advance.

Check the oil level and micro switches.

it's a 1999, the girl I bought it from said it won't go back all the way, I will have to push it manually but it will come back ok.

Have a read of this post and look at the pictures I posted. Check the levers on the micro switches haven't broke off or are bent out of shape.
