Looking for photo of "Aluminum" console cover in 2006 and later 9-5
I have leads on a new used console cover and cubby in original black plastic that I might paint to match the dash fascia in my '08 Aero. My question is whether the cubby was painted aluminum as well as the console cover, or just the console cover, in the cars which came from the factory with the 'aluminum' console?
These parts in the factory silver color were no longer available, but seem to be now - for anyone wanting to spend $250+ for a painted 6x9 piece of molded plastic.

They were an accessory and had an official Saab part number. But they are very rare and I think the only one I have seen was the one I bought online. I can't remember where I bought it from new but paid $40 for it.
From the Saab Accessoiries brochure:
Metal-Finish Console Trim
Add a dynamic finishingtouch to your cockpit.
M06- Part number: 32025588 $49

Thanks Frank!
From your photo I need only the console cover piece. And a rattle can of interior silver paint.

When I asked Frank about this 5 years ago he did not remember where he got it but I did find the part number and it was an aftermarket price but no longer made by the supplier as they never really sold enough

That's strange, my 06 has the dash trim and the door trim, but not the shifter console trim:

All previous attmpts to buy one of these parts has resulted in apologies and NLA notices from the retailers. Not to say there isn't one or two sitting in warehouses somewhere on the globe, I found five of the NLA Saab-Scania rear deck badges for my 2000 Viggen 'vert at an auto parts supplier in Australia!
I ordered a used black console cover the other night from an on-line auction, and a can of Interior Silver paint from Eastwood for half price. Just need to see how close the paint match is.
