Toyota ATF Type IV part number
Good morning to you all, this is my first post and it is coming from Port Elizabeth in South Africa. It is extremely difficult to get hold of the correct lubricants and ATF's in this backwater. I own a 2005 9-5 Aero Auto. I found a part number for Toyota's ATF Type IV 08886-81015 on the Internet can anyone confirm if it's correct?

You can most likely buy this fluid from any Toyota dealer?

You can also search for Mobil 3309 ATF; I've gotten it shipped from Amazon, but no clue what kind of retail presence they have in SA or if there's a better option.
Also, welcome to SaabWorld!

I went back to the Toyota dealer and this time they had the Toyota ATF Type IV in four litre/quart cans, so I bought 3 now I can change the ATF in my Aero. The first time I went in they showed me a can covered in Japanese writing, the only think I could understand was the part number.

I have not been able to find Mobile ATF 3309 and am going to use the Toyota product Type IV which I understand is Mobile 3309. I was also struggling to find Mobile 1 and walked into our local GM dealer and asked if he had Mobil 1, much to my surprise he had 8 x 4 litre/quart cans, he fetched one, it was covered in dust, they only use the AC Delco product. I bought 2 of the cans, now I have the oil I was looking for, time to service the Aero and reset the message about servicing.

Yes from what I've learned on here, the T-IV and 3309 are the same formulation. Glad you were able to find some!
