Saab 9-3 air bag recall

Both of my 9-3s (2008 & 2009) have been recalled to replace the driver's side airbag. You can check your vin# at the GM recall center.
The replacement part is not currently available.

Does anyone know if a Saab has been involved in an accident with an airbag injury?
