Battery not charging stop in safe place
Hi everyone. I have a 2007 Saab 9-3 1.9tid 150 vector sport estate. And when I start the car up it gives me a warning message saying battery not charging stop in safe place. I have just put a new alternator on the car and it still comes up all connections are clean and connected fine. I had the problem before on a different car and it was a charge relay which was the problem. I have had a look in the owners manual for a charge relay but it doesn't say anything so was wondering if anyone can tell if there is a charge relay and if so which fuse box and where? Or any other advice would be great. Thanks

Hi
Looking in the Haynes manual, the engine compartment fuse box is a good place to look.
related fuse is F31(a Maxi fuse) and relays R11= ignition relay and R8=starter relay.
Hope this helps
Dave.

Thanks Dave I have just had a check of those relays and the fuse and they are all ok with no problems.

Hi
I've managed to scan in and send to my Dropbox, the circuit diagram for the starting & charging system. And also the earth points location list.
Now trying to post links to them below.

Not too sure if they'll work, if they do, I hope they are some help to you.
