New site: SaabWorld.org
A new site but the same SaabWorld. It will feature images, advertising, videos, press releases, print articles and probably a few more things in the future. It will also have a blog section where we'll have occasional updates about what is going in the world of Saab.
We have a lot of this content here on SW dot net already but the forum software never really had good blogging features to present all this information in a nice way. I also want to bring back all the official Saab images and galleries / image management is much easier in Wordpress.
Search and Filter was important and you can search by category and Saab model. So for example, you can easily filter all information about the Saab 900 or find images for the Saab 9-5.
It took quite a while to find the right design, features and how to present all content. I hope you'll check it out and perhaps provide some feedback of things that are not working or site features and content you would like to see. This is just a start and I'll keep on adding more content.
Comments on the posts are always appreciated and make the site much more active with input from you Saab enthusiasts.
Welcome to the world of Saab!

Thanks! I am thinking of moving some articles from SWnet to SWorg when time allows. And of course, new blog articles are always welcome.
I added a subscription feature so you can get updates by email. It sends out one email per day if there is any new content. Sign up in the upper right of each page.

Makes sense. Are broken links an issue?

I am setting up URL forwarding from any old thread/article on SWnet to new articles on SWorg. It's time consuming because it has to be done manually. But it is the best way, especially telling search engines about any moved content and new location.
For example:
