Tech 2 will be needed for roof problems. Are you a member on uksaabs. ?

Used to be, but I've lost my password and it seems to be a tricky site to use! Maybe it's just me.I might try (again!) to re-register, but I seem to recall it not allowing me to do that the last time I tried....

Plenty of people on there with tech 2. Someone might be near to you.

Convertible hood not going down all the way
Is there any warnings on the Sid display like "soft top failure"
5th bow micro switches can cause problems. Also if the roof hits the roof cover that's usually a broken sheer pin in the universal joint.
5th bow microswitch is pretty easy to find/repair/replace.
When the roof is down open the tonneau cover and look in at c-pillar location on the N/S and you'll see it straight away.

Oh ok. So I can manually open the tonneau cover when the roof is down? I thought it latched up..?

You can open it manually from in the boot. But with the roof closed operate the switch until the tonneau is fully open then you can look inside for the micro switch.

That would be really helpful Geoff, and no doubt also for TheSarge (who will probably rejoin this discussion when it's morning in Western Australia)!
