Oil capacity when flushing oil cooler
I flushed my oil cooler. What's the capacity for the oil change cooler included.
I read a regular oil change is 4.5 quarts. But does that change what's in the cooler too. I wouldn't think so since I had my pan off and more oil came out of the cooler when I pulled it.
If that's true, then you would never really been changing ALL of your oil. That sucks.

Keep in mind that the oil has to reach operating temp before it will flow into the oil cooler, it's controlled by a temp sensor on the oil filter housing.
