Sunroof doesn't work all the time
This has been happening in the last year but is getting more frequent. Sometimes the sunroof opens and closes just fine but other times nothing happens when you use the sunroof switch.
When it works, I can open and close all the way. But this evening, it stopped when it was closing. So I had to use a screw driver to manually close it all the way.
Has anyone experienced this before? When I closed it with a screwdriver by turning the motor, it doesn't feel there is a lot of resistance so it doesn't seem there is something wrong with the tracks. Electric motor malfunction?
Part number for the motor is 4927430 and runs about $500 new from TheSaabSite. Fortunately much cheaper used for $50 or less so that's not bad.

Possibly, thanks for the suggestion. Probably a lot easier to remove and test the switch than to replace the motor.
