Greetings from Toronto, Canada
Hello,
It's Bob from Toronto here . . . Recently purchased an '03 Saab 95 2.3t with 130K kms. The seats are barely broken in and the engine pulls like a racehorse. I will have to get the rear shock replaced and need to do something about paint peeling from what appear to be aluminum mounts for both side mirrors. It's not the mirror housings which are plastic, but the parts that hold them in place and sit flush into the front corners of each window. I'll post a picture when I get a chance. Has anyone else experienced/addressed the issue of paint peeling from these components?
Kind regards, Bob

Hey Bob welcome to Saabworld fellow Torontonian.
I had 4 Saab 9-5s, all of them had the paint peeling off by the mirror. Also pay attention on the wheel arch area, those start to rust after the years.
Personally, I have never tried to fix that aluminium peeling.
Others might have some solution for it.
