Boost gauge going waaaay into and past red!!!

Hey all,
So as the title says my stock boost gauge goes way past red and into the black when pushing the car...
2005 9-5 Aero.
I'm not sure the car is actually over boosting but the needle def is. I have swapped out the MAF, bpc and apc. Checked hoses. Newer dic and plugs.

The issue is the needle starts off almost in the yellow instead of in the middle of white so it is almost as if it is not aligned properly.

I unplugged the battery for 20 minutes and the problem was fixed. After about a week it is doing it again.

Any thoughts?

Maybe your instrument panel is faulty?
Sounds like the needle is failing/loose.

I personally have never heard of this, can anyone else speak to this?
